Fabrics and materials

My bags are made to last. There is no compromise : I use the best fabrics, materials and components available from well-known manufacturers. Of course, we can use the most durable material with metal hardware but everything is a question of needs : do I need a bag for an around-the-world tour ? Do I need a bag that is light and fast for road riding ? I try to choose each material and component to find the perfect balance between strength, abrasion-resistance, waterproofing and weight.
